International Blog Day 2011: Six blogs
Okay, I admit, I’m a blogger who does not even take time checking other blogs! (Laughs). Maybe because Tumblr has made it easier for me since posts of those I follow appear on the dashboard. But when time permits, I take the opportunity to explore the world outside and check other blogs and what they can offer.
As Nuffnang celebrates Blog Day 2011, let me take the opportunity to share some blogs which I often visit. They may have different perspectives, cultures or attitudes but often that not they never fail to make my day complete.

Filipino Freethinkers (http://filipinofreethinkers.org/)
The Filipino Freethinkers is the country’s largest organization of non-believers and progressive believers. Their goal is to promote reason, science and secularism in the country and to push for a community where man can live free of ignorance and the church and state is clearly and permanently separated.
And no, their discussions in their blog is not just about if there’s a higher being or not. The group has been active in different causes, such as the RH Bill, LGBT rights and criticism of the CBCP’s practices. No wonder they won in the Globe Tatt Awards.

Walking Towards Uncertainties (http://www.junfook.com/)
No, I’m not including him because he’s handsome or something (laughs).
Jun Fook Teo is a biomedical student from Malaysia. But you do not really expect his blog to have parties, food, drinks, places, and more food! Yum! I so love the places he feature on his blog that I plan to visit Malaysia after graduation.

Deepfriedjupiter (http://www.deepfriedjupiter.com/)
I’m not fond of following girls here in Tumblr, but Lara is sure to be an exception. What I love in her blog is that it gives me a new perspective on how girls think. Like everybody else, I like her blog for it has a positive vibe to it that can make one feel good and inspired.
And oh, have I told you that she lives and breathes basketball?

Lukey is Handsome (http://www.lukeyishandsome.com/)
He’s one of those I met in Innit when I was still new at Nuffnang. The first time I saw his site, I was hooked. Who ever thought of having a blog title like “Lukey is Handsome”? Yep, he is. You’d be the judge.
Besides his daily round-up on how his life as a student in Singapore goes, what I like about his blog is his reflection on things which often times makes me go, “Oo nga!”

*Forever Weirdo* (http://this-man.tumblr.com/)
I consider Karlito as one of my close friends here in Tumblr. Though sometimes we don’t share the same line of thinking especially when spirituality is concerned, I still pay attention to what he has to say because he has a lot of things to offer.
And those pretty girls that sprinkle his page once in a while makes me go HHNNGG, believe me.

Fuck Yeah Rage Comics! (http://fuckyeahragetoons.tumblr.com/)
And of course, how could I end this post without including this blog dedicated to Rage Guy, one of my favorite memes! Admit it, you have experienced the comics posted on the blog yourself.
Do you also want to share those blogs that make your day complete? Make a post about it! Details can be found here.
Happy blogging!
